I’ll be heading off to Singapore for a short-term assignment with my company. So far, my confirmed dates there are Dec 1 – Feb 9. I may spend another month there after that but it’s not certain. This is a great opportunity and I’m excited to try something new, but there are definitely pros and cons to this trip!

Cons:

• Being away from Iann and Margot
• Missing the best months of Houston weather + Singapore monsoon season
• Being by myself in a strange country with zero friends
• Missing all of the Christmas celebrations that happen in December

Pros:

• Good work experience and personally enriching
• All the amazing food I will be eating!
• Weekend trips to neighboring Asian countries
• Wearing all the summer clothes I bought on clearance at the end of the season
